ADEZIV is a social design movement and community platform dedicated to neuro-inclusion and neuro-liberation.

-We believe that neurodivergent individuals and their allies are Designers by Default, constantly navigating and reshaping a world that wasn’t built with us in mind.

ADEZIV harnesses this reality, empowering Designers by Default with the tools, agency, and platform to co-create, research and build neuro-inclusive futures. 

Our mission is to connect, empower and represent neuro-divergent people and communities, using design as a way to reflect on and transform our lived experiences.

ADEZIV is a growing network of neurodivergent and inclusive creatives and designers, offering resources, content and collaborative opportunities to inspire and support the creation of inclusive spaces, systems and solutions.

A Theory of Neuro-Liberation

We recognise that design is not just a profession, it is a survival strategy

Many people, particularly neurodivergent individuals & their allies, must continually adapt their environments,routines & ways of being to navigate everyday life. These daily adaptations are often unrecognised forms of design.

We advocate for the recognition and empowerment of these practices, moving towards inclusive, neuro-liberating design approaches that value diverse ways of thinking and being.

  • Instigated by Daisy Dawson in 2023, ADEZIV grew from her experience studying at Design Academy Eindhoven, where she initiated the Inclusivity Club to address neuro-accessibility challenges.

    Daisy’s hands-on, collaborative approach continues to guide the mission of ADEZIV today.

  • Neuro-liberated design is a movement led by neurodivergent people and their allies reclaiming design to reshape systems that weren’t built for us.

    We believe the future of design is about diversity in options, and that design should continuously adapt and evolve with all of its community.

  • The name "ADEZIV" comes from a dyslexic spelling of "adhesive," reflecting our belief in the power of simple tools - like tape and glue - that connect, hold, and shape ideas. These tools mirror the flexibility of neurodivergent individuals, who adapt and innovate in environments not always designed with them in mind.

  • Participation at ADEZIV is fluid - there are many ways to be involved.

    Join a workshop, co-create a project, or just stay connected. Whether you're deeply engaged or checking in from time to time, you're welcome.

    All levels of participation are valued here.
