Daisy Dawson is a social designer whose practice is grounded in neuro-inclusivity. Her work addresses the vital need for more neuro-inclusive social spaces and systems. By embracing diverse perspectives, Daisy designs tools and environments that enable accessible collaboration and co-creation.

As a neurodivergent person, Daisy is deeply aware of the power and necessity of embracing creativity in all aspects of life. For neurodivergent people, creativity becomes an essential tool for navigating environments not designed with them in mind. This ability to adapt and innovate leads to new ways of thinking, creating, and engaging with the world.

From this recognition, Daisy developed the Designer by Default theory to acknowledge the everyday design work neurodivergent individuals naturally engage in. The theory empowers people to acknowledge their innate problem-solving skills, reflecting Daisy's belief that everyone is, in fact, a designer by default. She believes that inclusivity and creativity are vital to creating more accessible and supportive systems.

Daisy graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven in 2023 with her award-winning project, Inclusive Club Collective Kit. She now works as an independent social designer, specialising in neuro-inclusive design. Daisy is the founder of social design and community building platform, ADEZIV, which specialises in neuro-inclusion and neuro-liberation.

Through lecturing, coaching, facilitating workshops, and design research, Daisy combines her playful approach to design with her passion for inclusivity, inspiring others to embrace their own creative abilities and contribute to more connected, accessible, and inclusive communities through design.
