Designer by Default Workshop & Consulting for Neuk

Commissioned by Neuk, a neurodivergent artists’ collective in Scotland, this workshop and research project explored how to design inclusive community engagement.

The workshop took place in Edinburgh, followed by an extended phase of research and consulting online. Through a Designer by Default approach, I conducted a series of interviews with Neuk members to co-design solutions that reflect their needs and lived experiences. These insights were then developed into an active document—a working tool for board members, ensuring that inclusivity remains at the heart of Neuk’s community-building efforts.
