Neurodiversity as a Design Movement

The neurodiversity as a design movement day was a moment where Adeziv took up space during Dutch Design Week 2022, in collaboration with the Embassy of Inclusion at the Van Abbemuseum.

The morning was a collective brainstorm around the question:
“Neurodivergence as a design movement?”
Designers, thinkers, and passersby came together to map thoughts, experiences, and ideas on what it means to see neurodivergent realities as creative forces — shaping design, culture, and how we work together.

The afternoon became a design intervention, using tape as a tool to map where people placed themselves within this conversation. It was part visual dialogue, part educational tool, and part quiet stim space — offering calm within the chaos of Dutch Design Week.
